This policy explains what information Passed & Plated (“we,” “us”) collects through passedandplated.com, how we use it, and the choices you have.
Information we collect
Information you give us. When you request a proposal, we collect your name, email address, phone number, event date, guest count, venue or location, event type, service style, menu interests and any details you include in your message. We also keep the emails and other correspondence you send us.
Information collected automatically. Like most websites, our hosting provider records basic technical information such as your IP address, browser type and the pages you visit, for security and to keep the site running. If we turn on Google Analytics, it uses cookies to measure how visitors find and use the site; this information is aggregated and does not tell us who you are.
How we use your information
- To reply to your inquiry and prepare a proposal for your event.
- To plan, deliver and invoice the catering and services you book.
- To keep our records, meet legal and tax obligations and protect against fraud or misuse of the site.
- To understand how the website is used so we can improve it.
We do not send marketing emails unless you ask to receive them, and you can opt out at any time.
How we share information
We do not sell or rent your personal information. We share it only with service providers who help us run our business, such as our website and email hosting provider (Hostinger), analytics providers and, when needed for your event, rental and staffing partners, and only as needed to provide those services. We may also disclose information if required by law or to protect our rights.
Cookies and third-party services
Our site loads fonts from Google Fonts, which may receive your IP address when a page loads. If Google Analytics is enabled, it sets cookies to count visits; you can block cookies in your browser settings or use Google’s opt-out browser add-on.
How long we keep information
We keep inquiry and event information for as long as needed to respond, provide our services and meet our legal, accounting and tax obligations, and then delete or anonymize it.
Your choices
You can ask us to access, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you by emailing events@passedandplated.com. We will respond within a reasonable time.
Security
Our website uses an encrypted (HTTPS) connection, and we limit access to your information to the people who need it to serve you. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to protect your information.
Children
Our website is intended for adults planning events. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.

We may update this policy from time to time. The effective date above shows when it was last changed.
